‘C’-Range Hydraulic Cylinders C7040-300 Hydraulic Cylinder

The ‘NEW’ C range of hydraulic cylinders will be available soon. The new designs incorporate cast steel end caps and rod ends making the cylinder more compact and stronger. The range will be available on the website in 3D format available for download to aid design and production engineers.

In-House Design & Manufacture of Special Hydraulic Cylinders.

3D Design

C&C Hydraulics design and manufacture special cylinders in house to suit our customers requirements and demands. The hydraulic cylinders we produce are welded construction with working pressures up 250 bar. We can produce cylinders from 32mm bore up to 140mm bore with a maximum stroke length of 5 metres.

There are 3 critical steps in the manufacturing process to producing a high quality hydraulic cylinder.

Lathe Process Lathe Process Lathe Process

The first is to ensure that all the components are machined correctly in both tolerance and finish. At C&C Hydraulics we use high performance CNC machine tools to ensure we produce the right quality at the right price.

WeldingWeldingWelding

The second process is the welding, in many ways this is the most important stage of the production process and is critical to the strength and reliability of the finished cylinder. At C&C Hydraulics we use the latest semi automatic welding technology which both ensures the integrity of the weld and aesthetic finish of the product.

Hydraulic Cylinders

The third process is assembling the cylinder components and testing. The cylinders are cleaned and then assembled using torque multipliers and then tested using our pressure drop detection system. We test 100% of what we produce guaranteeing product and customer satisfaction.

Cylinder Production

  • Cylinders fitted with linear transducers offer the ultimate control and positional accuracy.
  • The rod cylinders are generally used in steering applications.
  • Cylinders with internal valves offer the advantage of no line mounted valves and offer the ultimate in safety.
  • Cushioning prevents the cylinders from slamming shut causing shock loading in the hydraulic system. It also makes the hydraulics more comfortable to control for the operator.

Cylinder Types:

  • Double Acting Cylinders
  • Singe Acting Cylinders
  • Stabiliser Cylinder

Telescopic Cylinders
The Telescopic Cylinders have been designed specifically for tipping applications only.

Single Acting Telescopics
The single acting telescopic cylinder is designed to empty the load progressively during the tipping cycle.

Cylinder Components:

  • Glands
  • Pistons
  • Standard Rod Ends
  • Threaded Rod Ends
  • Flanges
  • Trunnion
  • Spherical Bearings
  • Female Clevis
  • Ports

Tipping Kits:

  • Strong lightweight design.
  • Available in singe and double acting.
  • 3 way tipper bodies prove to be a real benefit when working in tight spaces, eg domestic and light industrial.
  • Fast tipping cycle on lightweight bodies.
  • Quick and easy to install.
  • Simple to operate.
  • Total flexibility for the operator.
  • It allows the load to be delivered exactly where it is required.
  • Compact design - The scissor mechanism fits into 160mm envelope preventing any possible interference with other equipment on the chassis.

3.5 Tonne Tipping Kits

  • Small trailers and light commercial vehicles

7.5 Tonne Tipping Kits

  • PTO driven systems with either pneumatic or electric tipping valve or for a more economical option we can offer a power pack.
